CONTRACT FOR THE USE OF THE OLD SCHOOLHOUSE

(Stolberg-Jackson Community Center)

The Old Schoolhouse, located at 8^th and Main Streets in Arrow Rock, MO, is owned and managed by the Historic Arrow Rock Council and may be rented for approved activities at the following daily rates:

Large Banquet/Meeting Hall* $200

Small Meeting Room* $50

Multi-day rate (3 or more days) $200 for first day, plus $100 for each subsequent consecutive day

*Rental includes use of kitchen, public address system, podium and stage at no extra fee. Room set up is not included but is available for an extra charge. Consult building manager for details.

• I understand that I am responsible for wiping the tables clean, taking all trash (including restroom trash) to the dumpster, washing and putting away dishes and other kitchen items, and turning out the lights before leaving the premises.

• I understand that for a Saturday rental, the Old Schoolhouse may be available for decorating late Friday if no other rental has been made. I understand that no decorations are to be hung from or attached to the ceiling or walls.

• I understand that the playing of music shall cease at 12 a.m. and that any and all decorations, personal property, etc. must be removed from the Old Schoolhouse by 8 a.m. the next morning unless other arrangements have been made with the building manager prior to the night of the event.

• I understand that I shall be responsible for any damage incurred to the building, property, or equipment at the Old Schoolhouse due to misuse, neglect, abuse, or any action that may happen from renter, guests or caterer. I agree to pay reasonable replacement cost for any broken or damaged property.

• I understand that the consumption of alcoholic beverages on the premises is permitted in moderation as the law allows. The signature on this contract releases the Historic Arrow Rock Council, its officers and employees, from any and all responsibility related to alcohol use both now and in the future. The misuse of alcohol by a guest or minor shall be brought to the attention of the renter and shall be corrected immediately or the rentee (Historic Arrow Rock Council) shall have the contract terminated immediately and the activity discontinued.

• I understand that beer kegs and/or cash bars are not allowed at this facility.

• I understand that no deposit shall be refunded if cancellation occurs within fourteen (14) days of the event.
